Privacy policy
What this website collects, why, and how to make us delete it. Short, because there is not much of it.
The short version
This marketing website stores one thing: the email address you type into the demo form, plus a little context about where you came from. We do not run advertising trackers, we do not sell data, and we do not set a cookie for tracking at all.
What we collect
- Your email address, when you submit the demo form.
- The source of the submission — which part of the page, and any campaign parameters in the link you followed.
- A one-way hash of your IP address. Not the address itself. It lets us spot a bot submitting a thousand times; it does not let us identify you.
- Your browser user-agent string and referring page, to understand which browsers and channels to support.
What we do not collect
- No advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
- No third-party analytics that profile you across the web.
- No fingerprinting, no session replay, no heatmaps.
- Nothing at all if you simply read the page and leave.
Why we are allowed to hold it
Under UK GDPR our lawful basis is legitimate interest: you asked us to send you a product walkthrough, and we send it. You can withdraw at any time with the unsubscribe link in the first email, or by emailing us.
How long we keep it
Until you ask us to delete it, or twenty-four months after your last interaction, whichever comes first. Then it is removed from the database, not merely flagged as hidden.
Who else sees it
Our email delivery provider, which needs your address to deliver the message. Nobody else. We do not sell, rent or share your details with advertisers, data brokers or partners.
Third-party content on this page
Fonts are self-hosted, so no request leaves for a font provider. Until we finish replacing our placeholder screenshots the page may load stand-in imagery from a stock media host, which sees your IP address as a normal consequence of serving a file. Everything else is served from our own domain.
Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of what we hold, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, or object to us holding it at all. Email us and we will action it within thirty days, usually the same week. If you are not satisfied, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
The product is separate
This policy covers the marketing website only. The Label Craft application has its own privacy policy and data processing agreement covering label data, print logs and account information, available inside the application and on request.
Contact
Email us with anything at all — including “delete everything you have about me”, which is a perfectly reasonable request and one we will honour without asking why.
